IKSA is a Turkish manufacturing company located in Ankara, operating in construction chemicals, pre-mixed mortars and concrete admixture sector since 1978.
IKSA was first established by the demand of shotcrete chemicals in the tunneling sector in Turkey. At that time the tunneling technology in Turkey was not well developed. Classical tunneling methods were used so the only chemical shotcrete additive was used powder form alkali based shotcrete additive which is used in dry mix shotcrete applications. As the number of underground projects in Turkey increased, the technology used in tunneling came to an advanced level. These developments brought different demands in the shotcrete chemicals like alkali and alkali-free based liquid shotcrete additives for wet mix guniting.
Since 1978, during the developments of concrete and construction technology and applications that mentioned above, as a local company, we managed to fulfill all the needs of sector both technically and commercially.

The company produces and provides its customers (construction companies, ready-mix concrete producers, distributors etc.) with construction chemicals and mortars for different kinds of construction applications. Products of IKSA are being used in dam, highway, tunnel, mining, railway projects and all kinds of construction structures both in Turkey and abroad. · CONCRETE & MORTAR ADMIXTURES – plasticizers, new generation super plasticizers, air entrainers, retarders, quick setting agents, underwater concreting admixtures, waterproofing admixtures concrete.
· SHOTCRETE ACCELERATORS –alkaline free and low alkaline based wet and dry mix shotcrete admx.
· CEMENT & CHEMICAL BASED INJECTION AND GROUT
· AUXILIARY PRODUCTS – surface curing agents, form release agents etc.
· CEMENT GRINDING AGENTS – grinding aids,strength improver, Cr+6 reducers.
· CHEMICALS FOR TBM APPLICATIONS –foam agents and polymers for soil stabilization.

The company has well equipped R&D, chemical and concrete laboratories for developing novel products following the latest technological developments in the construction sector. “Tailor-made” products are also available with respect to the client’s needs and “in situ” conditions. Moreover, before the products are introduced into the market, the quality of these products is monitored by the Quality Control department.
Regarding the design, development, production and distribution of its products, IKSA is certified and applies the quality assurance system ISO 9001. In addition, IKSA Integrated Management System involves ISO 14001 and ISO 18001. Furthermore, IKSA's concrete and shotcrete admixtures are signed with the CE marking according to the technical requirements of the European Standard ΕΝ 934-2-3-4-5.

IKSA always gives great importance to innovation. IKSA’s R&D Department with chemical and concrete laboratories is responsible for the development of concrete additives, special mortars, tile adhesives and grouts, and polymers.
In addition, by participating in known scientific programs, the R&D of IKSA shares views and exchanges technological know-how with different branches of universities and the construction sector engineers. Some of our R&D projects are sponsored by Turkish Scientific and Research Council (TUBITAK).
